2023 Vaughan Honouree
Gabriella Lopreiato began her career in the service industry at the age of fourteen, committing twenty-five-plus years in this space in the beautiful town of Vaughan. In doing so, she came to realize that helping and nurturing people is her life’s passion. Her goal has always been to provide extraordinary customer service and ensure each job was done, start to finish, in the best way possible.
In 2012 Gabriella ventured into the world of real estate. As a Real Estate Broker, and Co-Founder of iLoveVaughan.com, the #1 source for everything real estate in Vaughan, she truly takes pride in her community, thriving and exceeding client expectations. She has helped hundreds of clients with past transactions and has grown her business mostly through referrals and returning clientele.
Today, giving back in another very meaningful way, Gabriella sits on the committee of BrighterPath4Austim and donates a percentage of her earnings to this charity. Autism is a cause close to her heart and she is honoured and grateful to be a part of this organization to help children and create awareness.
Gabriella’s most memorable moment being a part of the BrighterPath4Autsim committee was when they had their first fundraising event and she met Austin who is autistic; he was their guest speaker, sharing his journey and how he started racing cars. She found it so inspiring that then and there she knew that these kids could do anything with support and guidance. This moved her even more to help with autism awareness as children are our future and we need to ensure that they receive the proper education and leadership to help them achieve their amazing potential. Witnessing the incredible development and aspired outcomes of the autistic children this charity touches is hugely rewarding.
The motto that drives Gabriella in all she does comes from her experiences as a young child. She grew up without a mom since the age of seven and was raised by men, her dad and two brothers. Being the only girl in the house going through the stages in life as a woman with no mother figure wasn't easy for her, and she had to educate herself, and be strong and independent. Fortunately, she did have family that helped her along the way, for which she is deeply grateful. This experience taught her to help others in need and to give back and be thankful.
Thinking back on the pandemic years made her realize how much we can take for granted at times. Giving respect to all and coming together in hard times to help each other is the only way.
Gabriella and her husband are proud parents of two wonderful children. Together, they enjoy experiencing local restaurants and businesses in Vaughan and spending time with friends and family.
